Werte Freundinnen und Freunde des Theaterlabors,
im Rahmen des Projekts ArtLabs möchten wir interessierte Künstler:innen einladen, an unserem Weiterbildungs- und Austauschprogramm teilzunehmen. Das ArtLabs-Projekt ist eine unsere Aktivitäten in Sachen nachhaltige Entwicklung unseres Theaters. Als Ensemble ist regelmäßiges Training, der Austausch mit anderen Theaterschaffenden und die Organisation künstlerischer Weiterbildung essentiell, um als Gruppe unser Profil zu schärfen, Substanz aufzubauen und zu erhalten.

How to create a character within a physical transformation?
How to build emotions and at the same time physicalize them?
How can you find liveness on stage through playfulness ?
A mask is a powerful tool for acting. A mask can switch from anger into sadness and from fear into happiness in a split second. A mask helps you to transform your body in a different character and and most important of all it reveals more then it hides.
In this intensive training you will explore the technique and theatre form of Troupe Courage. TC is famous for its raw, poetic and comic theatre inspired on the Commedia dell’Arte in their completely unique modern style.
The training includes: physical transformation, acting emotions from the smallest to the most extreme possible expressions and the psychology of movement. You will work on imagination, musicality, creating comedy out of tragedy, playfulness, stage presence and timing of acting. One of the essential tools will be the archetypical comic-tragic masks. These masks unlock the creativity and imagination of the actor and make the body speak. Every action, thought, word and emotion is immediately seen and will turn into playfulness to create fully alive actors and characters, with all their passions, needs and flaws.
The workshop will be led by Katrien van Beurden of Troupe Courage.

ARTLabs Training OPEN CALL
In unserem Projekt ARTLabs gehen wir in eine neue Runde offener Trainings, die sich an Performer:innen aller künstlerischer Genres richtet. Wir haben 4 Plätze zu vergeben. Ab dem 8.11. laden wir zu drei Trainingsterminen die Woche ein. Die Trainings bauen aufeinander auf, d.h. es empfiehlt sich, regelmäßig an allen Terminen teilzunehmen. Es soll darum gehen, produktionsunabhängige Trainingsroutinen zu entwickeln. Die Trainings werden von Indira Heidemann und Teilnehmenden der Gruppe geleitet. Der letzte gemeinsame Trainingstermin wird der 16.12. sein. Eine Ausnahme vom Stundenplan ist in der Woche vom 21. – 27.11.
Vergangene Workshops:
Ende April bekamen wir mal wieder Besuch von unseren Belgrader Freunden vom Theater Plavo Pozoriste. Seit vielen Jahren kooperieren wir miteinander, tauschen uns aus, stellen gemeinsame Projekte auf die Beine und bilden uns durch Workshops gegenseitig weiter.
Für den Workshop vom 6. bis 8. Juni mit dem Titel:

Die Workshops sind Teil des Projekts „ArtLabs – ästhetische Forschung an der Schnittstelle von experimenteller Kunstproduktion und integrativer Vermittlung “
